marcus Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 I'm trying to learn some knots to use on nanofil......mainly a line to line knot. This line gets me so frustrated but its so awesome..... Any suggestions from people who actually use this line
marcus Posted April 1, 2017 Author Posted April 1, 2017 I thought I would get at least one response on this topic
vonreed Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 I wish I could help. I get a little lazy on my knot tightness sometimes and a fish will pull the hook off the line, but I like it also.

moguy1973 Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 I would think that a modified albright or Alberto knot would work with nanofill much like it does with braid. marcus and dan hufferd 2 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
snagged in outlet 3 Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Alberto works like a charm. I used the lefty knot today with good success. But it was for fly fishing leader knot.
marcus Posted April 1, 2017 Author Posted April 1, 2017 that line sure is slippery alot of my go to knots don't work when using mono
MOPanfisher Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 I fully understand, me and my Nanofil have had quite the drama with knots. I have been using an albright I believe, 10 wraps and pull it tight, make sure it gets tight, and don't get too crazy on trimming the tag end short.
duckydoty Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Albright is what I use also A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
vonreed Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 That's what I use also. I was fishing last night and noticed I left my tag end a little short, but thought ahh it'll work. Next fish got off and I had a curly end on the line. That's what happens when you're rushing to get the next fish.
