dtrs5kprs Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Action mostly, plus depth. Throw the SK 3XD in there too. Little tighter, little smaller, little deeper. More subtle? Sometimes less is more when it's cold. Know you like the old Rebels. Just painted a couple of others for the same purpose. Don't overlook that Bandit 200. Comes through a lot of cover. magicwormman, Champ188, Royal Blue and 1 other 4

I have almost as many Bandit 200s as I do the others. I like them a lot. Champ188 1
Champ188 Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 That 200 series Bandit is tough to beat. I know people also like the 300 but the 200 is by far my favorite. Royal Blue and dtrs5kprs 2
Guest Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 When Spro designed the RK crawler, they built a better mouse trap. It's slightly larger & heavier than a wart, runs deeper & runs true right out of the package. I've caught thousands of bass on the bandit 200 but it only runs about 7-8' deep.
Quillback Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Mike McClelland said on Fishing U, that Spro is coming out with a shallow version of the Rock Crawler.
*T* Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Think he mentioned RK Crawler 55 - 2 to 5' range. I'm intersted. Quillback 1 "Water is the driving force of all Nature." -Leonardo da Vinci
Guest Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 It will be hard for them to compete in the square bill territory. The KVD 1.5 is an industry standard now at $6. Spro better get the cost down because I'm not paying $10 for a square bill. Of course I'm paying $10 for the RK crawler ?
Quillback Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 I don't know if it will be a square bill or some kind of short curved lip deal. Spro already has a SB lineup, so there must be a different twist on this RC, I wish McClelland would've give a little more info. dtrs5kprs 1
