jpb2187 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Stopped by on my Lunch break today. Hadn't had much success this winter with size. Was ripping a lipless crank through the grass. Caught these two in about 30 minutes. Wish I didn't have to head back to work. The front moving in with the recent warmer temps seemed to have the girls turned on. Both fish looked very healthy and fat. Big one was probably about 4 inches longer than the 18" ruler I had. top_dollar, Mitch f, MOPanfisher and 5 others 8

Justin92297 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Nice fish! Looks like 36 to me. Anyone know when they put the boats out? I need to get out on lake 35..
top_dollar Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Great fish. 36 is a good lake. Normally this time of year its freakishly clear, but the last few weeks its had some good color and the fish have really turned on there. It also sets up very well for bank fishing. Boats will probably be out in a few weeks.
