Ketchup Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Supposed to be 50 and mostly sunny tomorrow, so those stuck inside today still have a chance to enjoy the water. Donna G, crazy4fishin and Macsimus 3 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Donna G Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 That's our plan. Can't handle anymore shopping...Verizon, Sam's Club and Walmart...in the snow and sleet. I'm dragging. Ugh. Hate shopping. Fire's going and my old phone is transferring to my new one. Had a "foldover" Palmetto cheese sandwich (awesome spicy pim cheese from Sam's) and that may be the extent of my supper. Hope they bite for me tomorrow like they did for Lily today. vernon, Ketchup and magicwormman 3 Donna Gilzow Bella Vista, Arkansas The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan, 1915
Donna G Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Ended up fishing one of our little lakes in Bella Vista this afternoon until nearly 6 p.m. Ned was the star of the 40-bass show. A few better ones on a spinnerbait and a couple on a JB. All little males. Not sure there were any keepers, but it was fun. My last Ned looked like it had been through a meat grinder and the weed guard disintegrated. WT 54.7-55.4. No clouds, but wind. You had to be in the sun. Nothing in the backs of pockets. Main lake and halfway back on the sunny sides sitting in 8-15 FOW casting toward the bank. Fished some good looking brush and lay downs without much success. Not TR, but a nice diversion after Saturday. dtrs5kprs, vernon, crazy4fishin and 3 others 6 Donna Gilzow Bella Vista, Arkansas The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan, 1915
Ketchup Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 Sounds like a productive trip to me Donna. I made a trip down to meet another OA member at Cabelas to pick up a few items I purchased. Seen a few boats being trailered, so nice to see people out. I thought it was pretty decent weather today. Looks like it will get better as the week goes on. We have had a nice winter tho, so no complaints from myself. vernon and Donna G 2 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
