Johnsfolly Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 Glad to see the Blues get the OT win. They left the first period with a two to one goal lead and then got that third goal in the third. Seemed like they had the game in hand then let the Wild back into the game. Now they face Nashville. Should be a good series I don't see it going 4-0 or 4-1 for either team. I suspect that this series is likely to go 7 games. Looking forward to it.

I think every game in this series has been decided by one goal.
Ham Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 2nd round is set. I'm especially interested in Pens vs Caps of course, but almost as interested in Oilers vs Ducks. Interesting to hear talking heads saying that Caps might expose the Pens D without Letang. I think the Pens could certainly benefit from having Letang, but they've had time to adapt to being without him. The Caps ran into a HOT Leaf goalie that made up for the Leaf D, but if the Caps didn't run roughshod over the Leaf's D, I'm not as worried for the Pens. Lets Go Pens! Yes, the Leafs didn't exactly have the most formidable D-corps, and they held the Caps somewhat in check.
Quillback Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Well the Bruins are done, nobody left that I care that much about. I'll probably pull for the Blues as they are somewhat "local". Ham 1
joeD Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I'm sure the Blues most appreciate your steadfast loyalty.
Johnsfolly Posted April 25, 2017 Author Posted April 25, 2017 I am most interested in the Pens - Caps series. The Blues and Predators are creating a nice rivalry. That can be an exciting series as well. I expect at least one the series to go seven games, Just don't know which it might be, possibly the Blues/Predators. The opening round was great. Looking forward to the next round to be just as exciting. Quillback 1
Johnsfolly Posted April 28, 2017 Author Posted April 28, 2017 Just finished watching a nail biter in Washington. Great win for the Pens! The rugby scrum in the third really got the heart pumping. Ovechkin got away with goalie interference. Glad that it is over. Game two will likely start with a fight or two.
