To whomever asked which flutter spoon Babler prefers, it is the Dixie Jet. He asked me to relay that information since he's having temporary trouble getting onto the forum since the server change.

No, i asked because im going in mid june and wanted to pick a few up in case thats working then. Had a trip with Bill a few years ago and he was great, really knew his stuff and I highly recommend him to anyone reading this forum who doesnt fish table rock that often. I plan on hiring him again in the future but couldnt fit it in the schedule this trip.

thanks for relaying Champ

Is there a spoon bite happening already?

I haven't been able to catch them on the flutter spoon. I have had success with a 1/2 & 3/4 oz. white spoon fishing vertical. Mostly small spots in 20 to 25 fow.

This is what works for me better than anything this time of year through fall.  I drop spoons in dock stalls, tree tops, gravel runnout points and bridge pilings.   Walleyes and giant white bass are also suckers for em.

Are you using the dixie jet or a straight spoon?
