Taking dad out Monday and wondered if anyone had been having any luck?

I fished two Sunday evenings the last two weeks. It was slow for me but I caught a few on various flys and jigs. Midges, tricolor glow ball, white minijig and bedspread jigs all produced or at least got a strike.  Several guys did well stripping crackle backs.  If you get to the stream early I'm sure you will do well. There are some really nice fish in there.

The spring is warm and clear so yes it will be slow.

Sandy and I fished  last monday and things are a little slow in shallow water. Saw some good fish being caught deep and slow. It will not matter to your Dad how great or how bad fishing is. The fact that you are taking him will make it the best fishing trip ever.

Thanks rick. He is a good guy and I don't get to see him much. Ill get him on some slow water. Maybe even go with bait.

Took dad last Tuesday and he caught ono trout and thirteen sculpin. I caught six or so trout and two sculpin. Susie hole with worms he said so that's what we did. Fun day. He fell off his bucket into the mud but laughed it off well. Beauty of a day and great to see dad and spend time with him.

Congrats to you and your dad! Sounds like you two had a great time fishing Bennetts. Glad that you were able to spend time with your dad. Those are special times.

Also it's great to catch some sculpin☺!
