Saw it on the Weavers FB page.

Thats a pig there.  Biggest trout I have seen caught out of Bennett since I've fished there.  I'm sure there are bigger ones out of there, but this one was a dandy.

Personally would of preferred to see C&R, but don't blame him for keeping it.

Hard to say. Lots of times fish caught on bait are doomed anyway.  Plus bigger fish can't take the stress of being caught and released.   Nice to see some big fish caught once in a while though.

That is a pig. I wonder if it was there all along or got dumped in by the flooding. I thought that I had seen browns outside the hatchery runs in the overflow areas. JHK would love to have an encounter with that kind of fish the next time we fish Taney☺. Couldn't imagine what kind of fight that would be at night.

I'm guessing, that it came up from the river to get in cooler water.I

Yeah don't knock them for keeping fish and likely swallowed that minnow hook and all.  Beautiful fish for sure and will make an awesome mount and memory.

John I'm still waiting for that shot buddy.  Hopefully I have you there as a witness!  Would love to have a big submarine like that on the end of the line!

Had a Big One break 6# Test line on the river. Might have been that one.

About 8-9 years ago there was a giant lurking in the pool directly below the whistle.  They always look bigger in the water.... but that fish looked as long as my leg.  If anyone ever caught it I never heard about it.
