snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Water was off every morning and I only fished Sunday due to family fun. It was hot and calm. I started in rebar and did only marginally well. Nobody was really hammering them only catching them here and there. I got there at 6:30 and had enough heat and boredom to quit when I broke my cheaters around 11:30. My brother showed up and he fished with similar results until 3 or so. I caught around 10-12 dinks and he was on a similar pace. Up at Outlet 1 a couple guys were doing a little better but the fish were real small. Typical September doldrums in my opinion. I also saw a bunch of dead fry floating through rebar and they were trout. Between the 2nd and 3rd outlet there were literally hundreds of them swimming around. And a bunch dead.

snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 I think I remember someone asking about the outlet numbers. This is the sign at outlet 1. Kind of confusing for a new person.

JestersHK Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Thanks Phil, Will keep it in mind this weekend as far as fish handling goes. Hope it's not as big a deal as 15 was... Almost didn't want to catch them in fear of killing them.
Members Mbrown2858 Posted September 6, 2017 Members Posted September 6, 2017 I had a similar experience as well SIO3. I fished Friday and Saturday and did well but wouldn't say great. I spent most of my time fishing around Outlet 1. Tight Lines!
