That color combo works! I have a hangup about Orange, I just can't fish anything with orange on it for very long. If I don't get bit right away it has to come off.

Pure Orange is too much orange for me, BilletHead I am a fan of the rust colors. It isn't too flashy like a pure orange and looks natural to me. What are you planning on bringing down in your streamer arsenal later this weekend? So far I have some unweighted woolhead sculpins, olive buggers, black n white buggers, and a couple articulated streamers. Has anyone used the double bunny on taneycomo? They look cool but not sure if they imitate any of the local food sources in Taney atleast. Live count (10/19/17) : Streamers lost to Taneycomo's Giant Squid = 12

The boat performed great, only a few mods related to weight placement needed. We fished a good bit but didn't do worth a crap. Kept seeing dead 12" Rainbows on the bottom (quite a few of them, more than 10) then saw a dead 14-15" Smallie, scooped him up and he had been gigged. On the way back down we checked two of the dead bows and yep they had been gigged too. As we were pulling out a gigging rig was putting in. I asked them if they had been doing any good and he said it was their first trip out, and then he asked how far we thought he could run up...so I don't think it was them. I don't know whether to bother calling in to report it or not, the evidence is easy to find all over the bottom from Barclay up to NRO. Dead gigged rainbows and smallies pretty much everywhere. But the reality is that they probably aren't going to do anything about it, they never have before, so there's really nothing to do but get mad about it. trythisonemv 1
Gavin Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Call it in even though they will do nothing.
