I would like to get my hands on the MDCs foldout brochure of their SMB Management Areas, published a number of years ago. I've lost mine, and/or destroyed it, naturally. I don't think they publish it anymore, as it isn't on their website. So, if any you gents have an extra one that you are willing to part with, or know where I can obtain one, please send me a PM. Thanks in advance.

Here is their Trout foldout, same thing.

Yeah that's the brochure that falsely showed Berry Bluff as a river access with a boat ramp. Also caused a stir about a little creek south of Kingdom city.

I have it somewhere. If Gavin doesn't find his pile of them I'll go looking

I know that I have at least one copy of the smallmouth waters. I haven't used that one as often as the trout maps.  I was obsessed with trying the naturalized trout streams, which were more likely to be able to wade fish. I'll see if I have a second copy for the SMB.

What was the Kingdom City controversy?

"Of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy."

"There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot."

They listed the creek as "smallmouth water" (which it may have been at one time) so several guys fished it and found it littered with bones and dead pig carcasses.  The person responsible for that was a prominent county figure in Fulton so no action was taken. Pissed a bunch of people off.
