Will S. Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 This was SUPPOSE to be a serious post.. at first anyway.. LOL
fishinwrench Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 I made a weed eater canoe pusher. I designed it strictly for forward thrust, the idea being that I could drag a paddle one-side or the other and rudder steer it. To help me get upstream don'tyaknow. The first test run I went 5 feet before busting the hard plastic prop I used, and of course I didn't bring a spare. The next time I used a more flexible TM prop and shortened the shaft some because when it was at the correct angle the first time the exhaust was blowing on the back of my neck. It actually worked really good, pushed me upstream through some surprisingly fast water, but it sucked for fishing because I couldn't operate it without getting gas on my hands. So if by chance you ever get lucky with the Sparks twins, be sure to take some hand cleaner. tho1mas 1
