I just flat out love labs. I guess if he doesn’t care then it’s ok. I’ve had 4 labs in my life and have never seen that.

Slip a viagra in that one ear and see if it helps......

If you have one to spare I'll gladly try it.

My oldest daughter suggested a silicone implant, and I told her the same thing. "Got one you'd like to donate?"

It hasn't.  If you feel the actual skull structure it is the same on both sides.  Above that on both sides is muscle tissue.  The muscle on one side of his head has just suddenly, and for no apparent reason, just collapsed.

You would assume that is the muscle that causes his ears to perk up....but he can still do that just fine.

Damnedest thing I've ever seen.  I dunno.

I guess I skipped that part. I guess I never figured there was that thick of a muscle there.

Yeah, freaky!

I've always felt that there was something "going on" with him.  Every other Lab I've had, or been around, has been a joy to train and was never this "difficult".   This peckerwood has been a struggle from day one.  Like ADHD and OCD type behavior all rolled into one.   If he is inside (confined) he'll do anything you tell him to, but anytime there is even the slightest bit of an element of distraction..... you've just lost him.

Good natured and loads of fun, but a total PIA to take anywhere.
