K Dock to state line and finally found A toothie fish ;).

Start out by saying it was more of a waterfowl scouting trip but did do some trolling along the way.  Caught a few crappie and bass and one 17 inch walleye.  Trolling in 18 to 25 fow with #7 flicker shad.  Best hits came on the light blue and white with chartreuse but caught a few on the rainbow trout pattern as well on chunk rock transition banks.  Biggest catch of the day, the branch the was totally crusted with Zebra mussels.

darn mussels , those are the first one's i've seen/heard of this Fall

Ive pulled up a couple clumps of mussels the lat couple trips.  Usually hook some old line and it will have a wad of mussels around them
