I got to hand it to HogWally and friends. You have the Smallmouth on the Meramac figured out and have shown that it is the premier Smallmouth waters in the state. Congratulations on some fine fish.

Thanks Bill.  all I keep thinking is , it could be better.   I know what I see.  Major potential!   Like a world class fishery.

I imagine the settlers that crested the Sierra Nevada range and saw what would later become California had similar thoughts. Look at it now...

I feel it's an ebb and flow situation  I think your right, the fishing is on the upswing in Missouri and on several rivers. Like all good things though, they usaully come to an end or maybe a moderation. Look at some of the great fisheries like Dale Hollow or Okachobie and Lake Fork. Enjoy it while you can and pray it doesn't get to much attention.
