Wish NuTech would add a 5/16 finesse jig with a collared skirt to their lineup. I'd definitely try one of those.

I make them ;) misfitfishingco.com and local to southwestern MO

Alan is my cousin and I sent him this link so he could defend himself. Lol. HE HAS NOT SOLD THE BUISNESS NOR HAS HE GONE OUT OF BUISNESS. Pig Sticker has a Facebook page, if anyone ever has a question he’s usually quick to respond.

I know he’s family but I have seen first hand the quality that goes into the baits he makes and I would NEVER throw anything but Pig Sticker jigs.

I was a teacher/coach for 20 years. I always told my students, "there is no such thing as a stupid question!" That was right before i would tell a kid "that was a stupid question!!" Anyway, my question: Is this pig sticker jig the same as the nutech jig? Thanks.

No. They are a different design and different manufacturers.  Not knocking any other jig company but, in my opinion, the head design of Bo's jigs coupled with his unique weed guard makes them stand heads and shoulders above the rest of jigs on the market.

Ok. Thanks. I think i will order some off of Tackle Warehouse. It looks like you guys recommend the Grass Jig for general use right? Any recommendations for size? Looks like a 5/16 oz is the smallest. I think??

I think Al was also doing some work for NuTech but I’m not sure

I believe that to be true. Bo posted here a month or two back that he needed an extra hand in production and had Al pouring heads for his NuTech jig mold. Bo can chime in and correct me if I am wrong but I think that is what he posted.

That Snowden Jig is superb, as is the BA Finesse jig that Pigsticker sells. We just returned from 9 days fishing in several Mexican lakes and I’m sorry to admit that none of the jigs  that I made was better than those 2 jigs.  Picachos lake is jammed with trees and is Pitching heaven, something I rarely get to do in heavy cover.  El Salto is a steeper and rockier lake and those jigs performed great there as well.  Just so well balanced.  Keep going Pigsticker!
