Most wood I've seen in a long time floating down Well, at least since last year. The gauge at Steelville has been dropping but the CFS is still pretty strong. By next week I may be able to wade below the springs. Unless it rains more. Bill
Al Agnew Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Still up about 6 feet at our place downstream from Onondaga. Looked like it had been up about 6 feet higher than that. We went out to Millstream Gardens yesterday afternoon to look at Tieman Shut-ins on the St. Francis... MOsmallies, Bass Yakker, Daryk Campbell Sr and 2 others 5

moguy1973 Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 It's up over Marshall Road in Kirkwood. I didn't think it would have gotten that high. Guess we got more rain than I thought. Supposed to crest tomorrow afternoon. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Members KLiK Posted February 27, 2018 Members Posted February 27, 2018 Big River, this is the last horse shoe bend before it spills into the Meramec. ~Klay
MOFishwater Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 i went for a run in Route 66 yesterday and she looked about a foot from coming over the bank just north of the old Rt 66 bridge (where the path from parking area comes thru the woods to the river). Kind of amazing how close we are to major issues, glad I live up on a ridge. Thankful for some dry days and sunshine. Bass Yakker 1
JUNGLE JIM 1 Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 I didn't think we go that much rain either. River fishing is on hold for awhile but there are plenty of small lakes and ponds around here to keep me happy for now.
