It never fails. I tell my father (who lives in Ohio) about all the great fishing we have and when he comes out, we get biblical floods. Dad will be here Friday/Saturday and I was just wondering if anyone knows what the lake looks like? Is there any clear or stained water available? Predictions on what it will look like this weekend?

Also, he's getting up in years, so I would prefer to do some trolling. Anyone doing anything dragging flickers around?

Any info is much appreciated.

Thanks

I bet you will be able to find clean water , dirty water, and everything in between

My plan is to go Friday. I will probably launch at Ruark and decide what to do from there. I I would like to go over to CC, but unless I here something favorable about the water conditions there. I probably won't. Either way I will let you know what I see.

Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???B)

We were up Wednesday and fished out of Mutton Creek and did not see any dirty water, including the backs of any coves or creeks we were in.  We caught a number of fish on crankbaits, jigs and spinnerbaits.   Couldn’t get but one crappie to hit and no walleye this trip. Water temps were 48 to 50.  Tight Lines!

I would stay north of Mutton Creek but with the water warming, who knows?

The water from 215 N. is running in the 49-50 degree range. We had 4 keeper walleye last night from 7:50-8:50 stick baiting a main lake point. There are crappie to be found in the deep corp. brushpiles. Water is clear in that area.

Beats me, I had my 4th blank night last night.  Nothing to show in the last 4 tries but a meanmouth.  I have lost my Fishing Foo somehow.
