I respect that they use a release trailer and put the fish back elsewhere, and not the same place every time. Always wondered what type of waiver (or whatever) is required to do that. You've got 2-4 guys in a boat that are "in possession" of like 200+ keeper bass.....how can that even be technically legal without some sort of special permit? And what does a permit for that cost? What is that permit even called? I don't see it listed in the available permits from fish&game agencies.

They use a trailer, fish get weighed, dumped in a trailer then driven to an off site ramp where they just back in and open the doors to let em out. So, ya they are transporting them by road. Not sure of the legalities, but Joe Bass runs a pretty good trail, I wish they would do something here during the summer.

When you leave PB2 with a load of fish, there aren't that many ramps to go to. PB1 Shawnee bend Gale I know they don't make it to the Gravois ramp or I'd have seen them. That would be worth tailgating them to find out. I'm sure someone has. grizwilson and patfish 2
Members Walleye13 Posted April 10, 2018 Members Posted April 10, 2018 Shrapnel, not too bad considering the conditions. Couple more like those 3 you got would've been nice! I see Jamie Enyard won it. Not sure where he was but I know he likes to fish the Gravois. I'm glad to hear they are not dumping all those fish at PB 2. I'm with Wrench though, wish they could bring some back to the Gravois.

They announce where they are releasing them so as to be 100% transparent. They have released at Robin's and Tantara for sure. TONS of ramps round here...ya need to git out of the Gravois once in a blue moon

I know where all the ramps are. I just figured that MDC would want them dumped at PUBLIC ramps, instead of private ones. conorsixtakc 1
