fishinwrench Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 I believe there's a 2 year old deer roast in the bottom of the freezer.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 I bet that's real delectable...about like peas.
Fish24/7 Posted May 20, 2018 Author Posted May 20, 2018 5/18 Another good day on the lake! Late start, but found some bass still chasing on top around 9:00. Made a b line for the feeding schools from the launch and hooked up with a 5+ on the 3rd cast with that red eye shad . Long fight while her friends continued to blow up on shad all around the boat. She came unbuttoned when she slammed her head against the side of the jon boat, yes, having a net would have been nice. Short pistol grip rod, the fight had got REALLY up close and personal sitting that low in the water. She splashed me pretty good a couple times! Think I'll tie a rope to the net and the boat so it's always in there hehe. That's been my story lately. Several missed opportunities for big fish. Was able to put 7 , 14-15" largemouth in hand before the schooling stopped. Threw em all back. Broke for lunch and switched over to perch gear and spent the next 4 hours just tossing gills back into the water ,so many I didn't even try to count them, kept 18 towards the end of the day. snagged in outlet 3 1

Nobody believed us for years. Now they are becoming more common. Nobody believed we had a pet Roadrunner named Frank. Hand fed him oranges, he lived on our back porch.. He just showed up one day and wouldn't leave. Followed us around the yard like a stray/lost puppy. Stayed the whole winter. Loved to play hide and go seek, I know it's weird ..... of course he did most of the hiding and I would seek . snagged in outlet 3, tho1mas, BilletHead and 1 other 4
snagged in outlet 3 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 That’s cool. My brother had a mallard drake walk into his apartment through the sliding glass door one summer. Thing hung out for a couple months. Never did poop inside. Almost like has house trained Fish24/7 1
