Members LegendFishing88 Posted May 10, 2018 Members Posted May 10, 2018 Hey guys, I have been wanting to fish between Holiday Island and Eagle Rock for awhile. Has anyone fished around there recently or know what the water color looks like? I'm thinking about giving it a try on Saturday. Thanks!
dblades Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Don't know the color but the current should have them biting.
Members imbetterthanyou Posted May 10, 2018 Members Posted May 10, 2018 I've been fishing there frequently last couple of days and have been slaying them. They have been hammering a top water duck imitation. Caught around 30 this morning! Fished lake Keith yesterday and the bite was the same. Caught a couple 4 pounders out of Keith! Hope this helped. Bill Babler Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Welcome to the forum and you are not going to get off that easy. You need to post a picture of a top water DUCK Imitation. Again welcome aboard. This is basically a double legged plopper. Then you got the "Fruck", which is a frog/duck combination. A couple different companies make a walk the dog (or duck in this case), type bait, Or if you're a crankbait guy, you can get them on Danny the Duck from Westin. Not a bass obviously, but an awesome strike on the Suicide Duck. tho1mas, Daryk Campbell Sr and magicwormman 3

I often watch videos with the sound off, do to possible bad language and having kids around, but this time I'm glad I had the sound on. Bill Babler Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 I've looked at these and seems the smaller one's are 10" long. That is a pretty big bait and from what I'm reading and seeing they were developed for pike and musky. Very interesting, thanks for posting the pic's http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

The Suicide Duck that looks like a double plopper is 4.25" 1oz for the small one and 6" 2 3/4oz for the big one. They sent me some of both sizes and I've caught bass with both of them. They wouldn't be something I would have considered for Table Rock, but they work well on the shallow, stained lakes I frequent in KS.
