Are they getting complaints about that or something?  Far as I know, reefer smokers are pretty friendly and peaceful, seldom (if ever) cause any problems.

I hate it when LEO's can't find anyone causing trouble so they go looking to create some.  They should just go have a donut or something until a valid complaint is filed.

I was at Lake of the Ozarks last year in December. While my father and I are Fishing the mouth of the Osage I hear a buzzing and see this drone like 200+yards away maybe 100ft over the water. I kinda ignore it but then the tone of this thing changes , my dad says “ we’ve got problems “ this thing fell out of the sky smashes down in probably 80ft of water . We are cracking up. This dude comes running down from this mega lake house . Says “ did you guys just see what happened “? .we reply yup. dude says “ can you guys go try to get that for me ?” We respond “Does the darn thing float ? He’s like. “No, I mean how deep is it ? can you use your sonar ?” I tell him, sure . We idled out and got the hell out of there .

Probably no complaints. Van Buren can be like the niangua though, a real Party spot. Figure it’s a big business down around there busting floaters.

I've known a bunch of people that have been busted for possession of pot, and none of them quit smoking it afterwards.  Not a single one has said "Dang, guess I can't be getting high anymore".  🙄

Courts seem overly full, and lawyers have more cases than they even want.  Makes me wonder what the point of actively seeking out someone smoking a joint in the middle of the woods could be.   Not enough real crime in the world yet I suppose.

😀

My neighbor lost his first one (a cheapie) early this Spring in the woods on another person's property.  He went to their door to see if he could get permission to go look for it, but the fella he talked to said "Nope".   He did take his name and phone number though, and told my neighbor that if he ran across it while hunting this Fall he'd give him a call.  Said the ticks were too thick down there to go looking any sooner.  😄

They are radio controlled, so a jamming device like a garage door opener is feasible and I should guess unprovable.  Thing just flew into the ground/water or took off to some far away place. No 12 gauge noise either. I think eventually people will fuss enough about privacy that FAA  will have  to regulate them better.

My neighbor claims his is registered with FAA and all that BS,. He has a number (sticker) on it that is supposedly his FAA#.

Think they all are supposed to registered, but it doesn't  take much to do and no bonds or insurance are required as far as I know. Subject came on another forum a year ago and some claimed they had shotgunned one, the guys that had them went into all FFA protection stuff but I didn't pay much attention. There was one or two shot down as invading personal privacy before the FFA stepped in. I haven't seen one yet, but I get where the privacy issue is and can see that a peeper could use one for that purpose.   I was thinking more about the FFA requiring training or bonding of the "pilots".  then..I was just thinking back to how we had jamming radar for missile guidance systems back when I was a young sailor. We could smoke a seagull at a 100 yards, but those RC systems have to be vulnerable, if some one wanted to do a bit of self defense work. Get your own RC and make it match frequency with the nuisance and just bump his commands a bit... the receiver doesn't know who is driving, maybe
