Just wondering what bait you like to use for Catfish. Looking to catch some eating fish for a fish fry.

Thinking about going over to my sons lake development and floating around in the Pontoon Boat with some rod and reels hanging off and some jugs a floating around the lake.

if you have a dehydrator, chicken livers dried to the consistency of a gummy bear and put in a ziplock bag of kosher salt for a couple of days. you can add other things like soaking them in soy sauce before you dehydrate them, lots of options, I have also dried them to a crisp and ground them to a meal and a fine dough can be made with that powder a pinch in power bait works on trout even better than unspoken. pealed crawfish tails also are great to dry and add to powerbait for trout

MONKEYS? what monkeys?

If it is channel cat your after, nothing will fill a stringer quicker than Sonny's dip bait.   If you don't get a bite in 10 minutes then you are fishing in the wrong spot.

I thought you had to use live bluegill or worms?

Long time ago some one told me to use strawberry Nehi and Wheaties and it worked in that river.  I also  used whole shrimp a couple times. And soft shell crawdads.  I'm not sure but I think Sonny's dip bait has  a new name, I saw that some where. sss, maybe?

Sonny's Super Sticky.

Bowkers is actually better than Sonny's but it's hard to find.  Sonny's is everywhere.  I've tried sponges, tubes, and just about every method associated with dip bait but the little ringed worms are the best way to go.

Here lately I've been using Sudden Impact Punch Bait and it is out fishing Sonney's on regular Treble Hook.
