Members Greg nicks
I fished the bfl. I prefished up the river and they bit good up there. Then on Saturday they dropped the lake and the bite changed only weighed 9 pounds. I have a friend that was leading it on the first day. He caught them deep on the lower end. Fish are scattered. Old plug
I went out White Bass fishing for about a hour last evening on a point close to the house. I found a couple of groups of fish at 18 ft. Got 2 out of one group and three out of another. Those 5 white were the bast i have seen in my neighborhood for a few years. All were right around 14" . Very happy to see that. They have stocked so many Hybrids these past few year I was kind of thinking they were competing with the Whites.

Some of the best fishermen on LOZ brought in some of the lowest weights of the year = fish not biting very good. So you fished one of them, what did you weigh in if the fish bit pretty good on Saturday? I ended up weighing 16.11 on the first day , and 13.8 the second day . Ended up finishing 2nd in the BFL MOsmallies and Daryk Campbell Sr

The upper lake level fluctuation throughout that period only amounted to 0.31 The daily fluctuation on average, during stable times, is seldom less than that. And water temp only fluctuated 4° during the same period. Try as you may you cannot predict or accurately explain why fish do what they do. If you depend on stable conditions then the safest place to be, year round, is in the mid-lake area (7mm to the toll bridge) where the least amount of change (temp, clairity, current, elevation) occurs. Yeah thanks for getting that boat humming again ! Ran about 40 miles one way . They were mostly on the bottom. I think I caught one suspended . That bite is on its way for sure. fishinwrench
Lvn2Fish
That’s the only reason I’m saying don’t read into the low weights. This lake is about to really bust loose. With the conditions this weekend I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes 20+ to win AIA fishinwrench
shrapnel
Just fished the Missouri Angler Wed Night Championship. I only had 2 fish but 3 bags over 16 came in...pretty darn good for a 5hr tournament. fishinwrench
Members Yankee
Hey thanks for all the advise. I caught a bunch of fish but nothing above 15 inches. I was wondering if there is something I should have done different? I fished points with a tube and shacky head and a spinnerbait. I went all the way up the Glaize I think thats how it is spelled but also went to Linn Creek and worked back but I did not go towards the Dam at all. Should I have done that? redshad
We were up on the lake this weekend fished Saturday and Sunday. Saturday they were biting good. We caught most of our fish on back corners and sides of docks fishing the shade. We were throwing 1/2 and 3/4 oz jigs with rage craws trailers. Saturday pitch that big jig in there if they didn't grab it on the fall hop once or twice and they were on it. We caught fish pretty much all day long. We got off the water around 4:00 to go get some food. Sunday we were on the water at 6:30 and had a bout a 30 minute flurry first thing and then they slowed way down for us. We caught some fish but they were mainly shorts we had 4 that would have been keepers on Sunday. We caught most of our fish Sunday on a 1/2 finesse jig. I did catch a couple 3 lbrs on the big jig. It was another great weekend on Lake O. snagged in outlet 3 and nomolites
