Members Brad N Steph Posted November 3, 2018 Members Posted November 3, 2018 I’m camping at Ruark bluff campground east and I’ve been fishing the last few days but I haven’t been able to find the fish. I found a couple drum and a largemouth bass. I can’t seem to find anything that works.

MrGiggles Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I went out Tuesday, for the first time in a long time I got skunked. Right at dusk I finally marked a lot of shad in fairly shallow water, with a lot of fish amongst them. I didn't catch any though, once the sun set they disappeared. All I can say is that the fish are scattered and following shad. The lake will also be turning over soon (if it hasn't started already), so that complicates things further. -Austin

Dutch Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 If you are bass fishing, try getting on cove banks with a spinnerbait. Last week I had 5 keepers with some early good ones on the spinnerbait. zarraspook 1

I tried to make sure I got a good fit on the hat. I have another one at home. Can’t let the government read your thoughts. Everyone should have a tin hat. Members Brad N Steph Posted November 3, 2018 Author Members Posted November 3, 2018 I’m feeling really good. Thank you. I started heating rocks to stay warm at night. Might need a couple more tonight with the rain later. I caught one largemouth on the bank on a yellow curly tail. I’ve been figuring they’d be deep and slow with the cold and wind. I gave up today. Too windy for a kayak. Thank you guys. BilletHead 1

fishinwrench Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 I went out to look but we had a heavy fog set in and I couldn't even see past the top of my house.
