fishinwrench Posted November 11, 2018 Author Posted November 11, 2018 I think the Roubideau (sp?) Flyfishermen were there also. Something about a "fly-fishing club" just seems so...... ????...... (Help me out here PC police).

dave potts Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 I remember in the early days of the C&R season you practically had the place to yourself. It's worse than a summer weekend now especially if the weather is halfway decent. Anybody remember when the winter C&R started? I can remember by younger son and I going when he was quite young and he is now 42.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Yep we were going from day one. Place was literally deserted the first few years.
fshndoug Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Tout fishing areas seem to be getting busier every year. You can still get in a boat on Taneycomo and have areas to yourself but not so much when you are wading.

fishinwrench Posted November 12, 2018 Author Posted November 12, 2018 I think today would have been a perfect day to go. I can't imagine there'd be much of a crowd and the stream is always beautiful with a blanket of snow, but I talked myself out of it. It's a good day to stay home and tie flys too.
