Are you kidding me?  That's a WalMart candy bowl?!?!?

I soaked some white bass fillets in it once and she went off like a stick of dynamite!   I figured it was something extra special and have been giving it a wide berth if I even walk past it.

Now I find out that it's some stupid 1.99 POS from Walmart. 🙄

WTH?

Uncle Josh’s definitely needs to be resurrected. They are hard to beat for effectiveness. I know they dry out and that is a drag, but dang they catch fish.

Exactly!   I never ask to pitch something I just tuck it away and see if it’s missed.  If not, Tuesday trash pickup it is.

If I got that practice started it would not work out well for me.   Sugarbritches and I have this thing where we never lie to each other, so as soon as she says "Have you seen my _______?",   I'd be busted.

I can envision fly tying materials and tackle disappearing at an alarming rate.

I've got some old jars of anyone I'd interested.   PM me and let me know.

Fishrman,

Not sure if you are aware but just like any lure that's discontinued.....the prices have skyrocketed on these. The last couple of years old pork jars have gone for stupid $ relatively speaking. What I'm saying is don't just give those away.  I saw a guy post a similar amount of Uncle Josh jars over on BBC and he wanted about $300 for them. Ebay can give a pretty good indication how much something will go for. Going by that metric each jar is $10-20 each it appears.
