He slayed on TR last year in Anglers in Action.  Every single tournament that dude was on them.

  I haven't fished a T on Bull in YEARS. Fished a lot of them from the late 80's  thru 2005. 

Yep, high water does wonders for these fisheries. We try to tell everyone to enjoy these good times because at some point the high water could/will stop. This will result in these fisheries reverting back to how they were in late 90's and early 2000's when winter and spring tournaments were won with 10-11 pounds.

Same goes for Crappie and Walleye too.

Blevins, is an unbelievable fisherman on any Ozark Lake. He is able to get on the water alot. That's the key.  He can breakdown what the lake is doing, run it and figure which areas the bigger fish are biting better. I know if your fishing against him and he beats you like he has the last several years,  people get irritated and accuse him of cheating which is totally false.  If he decides to take the jump and go "full time" on the tour he will have a great career. He has had some very good tutors when he was starting out but applies it what works best for him.

I hope my comments did not come off as irritated it was ment to b amazement. I have fished against him in the bassothons for years, his ability to catch the bigger fish is nothing short of probably the best thats ever wet a lure on our lakes. Im 40 yrs old been fishing tournaments since i was 18 im just pointing out that in my lifetime i have never seen anyone dominate these lakes like he has the last 4 yrs or so. Yes time on the water makes a huge difference and his dominance has fueled me to up my game but its tuff to find the time i want with a wife three kids that are into everthing and a full time job. But im not gonna complain wouldnt trade for anything!

No it didn't Eric Angler.  I am like you it is amazing to me I fish against him in events on Table Rock and Bull Shoals Club tournaments.  I feel great when I come in with a certain amount of weight only to be humbled and gladly take 2nd or 3rd place.  He has the "it" factor for catching the bigger sized fish when everyone else is catching nice fish.  They call him little "VanDam" for a reason.

totally agree w/ the time on the water thing. I've been fishing Bull since 1979 as a toddler. Family has been fishing it since the late 50's. Time on the water is an advantage. You just see/learn so much that can't be found in magazines or videos imo.

Dustin has made a name for himself as a fantastic A-rig fisherman.  I have not followed his career in tournaments where its not allowed to know how well he has preformed.  ie as far as being on a pro-circuit.

Thing is if you can catch them you can catch them.

He has a top 10 in a Costa event on LOZ in the fall flipping docks with jigs and Shakey heads.  He fished all 3 qualifers to fish the championship at Table Rock that year. I think he cashed 2 out 3 tournaments. He can catch them other ways besides the A-RIG. For the most part, the really good fisherman that have been successful pre-aRig to now are still winning. Example: Fann Brothers, Mr. Wenners, Scott Boaz, Tim Sherrill,Josh Busby, Eric Hammond. all these guys have logged time on the water and use their instincts to make adjustments.
