Spent 15,000 bucks on my eyes and still have to wear 6 dollar pair of glasses to read...lol

I wanna say I only spent about 40.00 that night.

I spent $5500 17 years ago for LASIK correction.  Best money I have ever spent by far.  Went from about 20/70 to 20/15 in decent light.  But the old man eyes caught up to me.  I have about 10 pair of the Dollar Tree cheaters laying around the house because inevitably I’m somewhere in the house where I didn’t bring them with me and I need to read something. If here was just a better way of carrying them around besides a lanyard or a chain around my neck that would be great. I can still see better than average at about 24” away and beyond.

I had cataracts in both eyes done in 2016..I now have 20/15 vision but need glasses for reading and close up work..

Flip focals & bifocals are your friends at 40+. Have thought about Lasik but doc said I don’t need it yet.

The old Mustad 32 dry fly hook was smaller than that. It was gold plated and had no eye, just a bump to snell too.
