Maybe you need to go hang around a rodeo and get yourself a cowgirl kiss too. 😘 I wanna say I only spent about 40.00 that night.
Bushbeater Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 I just bought a couple of needle threaders last week, I haven't tried them yet, but it appears they will work, especially for a polamar knot. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MYLQH4/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B074MYLQH4&pd_rd_w=uIRTg&pf_rd_p=f0dedbe2-13c8-4136-a746-4398ed93cf0f&pd_rd_wg=FmOYi&pf_rd_r=410BT86HNKGW5ZWZNAVB&pd_rd_r=ceca1437-1c72-11e9-b87e-8d40aea76ce3

Best money I have ever spent by far. Went from about 20/70 to 20/15 in decent light. But the old man eyes caught up to me. I have about 10 pair of the Dollar Tree cheaters laying around the house because inevitably I’m somewhere in the house where I didn’t bring them with me and I need to read something. If here was just a better way of carrying them around besides a lanyard or a chain around my neck that would be great. I can still see better than average at about 24” away and beyond. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

fishinwrench Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 My Mamaw used to raise hell with my Papaw for not wearing his glasses, and one day he said "Listen here Ol'woman, if my eyesight was any better I'd probably kick you to the curb". 😂 Daryk Campbell Sr, Haris122, JestersHK and 1 other 2 2
Gavin Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Flip focals & bifocals are your friends at 40+. Have thought about Lasik but doc said I don’t need it yet.
Gavin Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 The old Mustad 32 dry fly hook was smaller than that. It was gold plated and had no eye, just a bump to snell too.
