fishinwrench Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 The Asians there are actually kinda pretty compared to the Mucinex Boogers with fins that are in the Osage.

I haven’t heard anything but I’ll my ride bike to that back canal when the weather turns. If they are in they will be in that canal. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
JUNGLE JIM 1 Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 Watching it snow when I made these chatter style baits with an Arky style head on 4/0 Trokar hooks. These are 1/4 and 3/8 oz. Maybe something will hit them. JestersHK, fishinwrench, timinmo and 2 others 5

JUNGLE JIM 1 Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 I pour my own heads and can't attach the blades to the hook until I'm finished. It's definitely better for them to be attached directly without a split ring. Even make them with football and ballheads. timinmo 1

I lost several of them last year when the hooks pulled out so I made these with 4/0 Trokar jig hooks using craft hair, saddle hackle and a little flash. Nice looking jigs! How heavy? What's the overall length?

I've got them with and without the split rings; seems to hunt a little more with the ring. Omega's Rapture has a swivel.
JUNGLE JIM 1 Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 These are 1/4 and 3/8 oz. and are 4-5" long. The craft hair really dances on these. I think it hunt's more with the split ring too, but believe it can be a weak link. Need small but strong rings. timinmo 1
