Too bad all the fish have been moved to PB2.  😛 Besides, a flooded Stockton has been pretty amazing in the past. I'd have you come down but, 5 or 6 county, boats everywhere, sugar britches, yada, yada, yada,......................................

He has dishes to do too.

High and falling= terrible.

It won't be the same as when it's flooded but you just have to know where to look.

The crappie fishing this fall should be phenomenal.

Call me a newbie but...... how come MoPanFisher?

Not nearly as many crappie caught this spring and there were quite a few good one in the ones that were caught.  So the supply of quality fish should be excellent.  In addition the spawn recruitment  (survival) should be good as well, so in 3 years another crop of keeper sized crappie should arrive on the scene.  The highwater years are usually great for the spawn/survival.

Yeah, I'm in the bunch that didn't catch as many, but like you, I thought they were nicer than normal. We had one 16"er this spring, just wish they could have gotten the water down for some early summer fishing, oh well. I have some ditches that need a little tending that will take care of my extra time.....

It was interesting as yesterday the level at Bolivar landing was down below the orange paint on the ramp, but today it was back over the orange paint.  I know the gauge says it is creeping up, but visually it was down on the south end yesterday.  Is that common?
