I need to replace my boat trailer tires. They are ST175/80 R13. I was wondering what brands do you all recommend. I presently have commodore now. I was wanting to replace with a heavier ply tire and something with a higher hwy speed possible. Thanks for advice.

Just get trailer tires not car tires.  They generally have a better side wall.

When buying tires, always check the load rating on them. The cheaper tires are for lighter loads.

I buy tires from a tire shop and have them mounted there also. They last longer than the cheap ones.

Problem is the last time I went to a tire shop the guy is like those are trailer tires.  The ones I can get you are the exact same tires as you can get down at Lowe's or Walmart and they are already premounted on wheels.

The ones at my tire shop have better load rating than what Wally world carries. They wear better and don't heat up.  The tire costs more than a tire and rim at Wally, but hold up better.  My 12, 13, and 14 trailer tires are all steel belted radial tires.  Cheap ones are poly cord.  Cheap ones are ok on short trips with light loads.  My bass boat runs on 4-5 hour trips at interstate speeds.
