We've already cheated and lied.  The only thing we haven't tried is bending that 60 over the transom and stretching her exhaust port.

Toss me the lube, I ain't ashamed to try it.  😜

Here we go again!   Let's just stick to the G rated repairs for now.😂

Looks like it's an epidimic, look at what's on the list today.

No fire.  Testing indicated no voltage from the timer base.... swapped that out, then no output from the Ppack on #1..... swapped that out, now we have excessive charging system voltage (+15v)  so I guess we'll swap a rectifier/regulator tomorrow and see how much more of my customers money we can spend.   Good grief!  What is it with these good ol' die-hard 3 cylinders all of a sudden?  🤔

Lost spark on my Merc 60 last night too. Think I found the issue, rotten wire from the stator. We'll see though.

I just thought of something.  What battery is hooked up to that Johnson 60 of yours?

If it is a deep cycle your problems are now solved.  That is an unregulated charging system and can't operate properly with a deep cycle battery.   Swap to a regular group 24 battery and see if that doesn't cure it right away.

That’s what we did when we hard a hard gripe puzzle fork

Nothing sucks worse than a hard gripe puzzle fork !   I've seen them cause loss of business, disolving assets, and even divorces.   You can't even joke about that ---- 😂
