Tecumseh access?

Recommended Posts

Interesting. I am planning a trip in the next few weeks, planned on Tecumseh, Theodosia, and Taney.

Why would ramp close?

I think it was damaged by flooding, but I'm not 100% on that.

Well it wasn't built right then, was it? 😂

They're wasting your tax dollars if they build a ramp at the end of a river/headwater of a lake that isn't braced up to withstand a flood.  They've had a whole year to fix it.....and they are still dicking around?    Time to start clocking them out for lunch. 🤔

I will have to rethink that portion of the trip.  Anywhere else to put a jet in around there??

Can you even run a 60/40 on the North Fork?

River Blew the ramp out and up the hill at Cane Bluff on the 11 Pt River.  Was down there back in the spring, I doubt if the NFS ever puts one there again.  Too shallow for boats any way most of the time.

Riverton Ramp on 11 PT was washed out around it, part of the slab dropped off in a hole.  You have to cheat to one side with a trailer or drop off in a hole.

Been like that 2 years now.  Guess they have better things to spend money on.

Well Sure. There are a couple of ramps on Norfork Lake that aren’t too hard to run up to the bridge and beyond
