Members Rustynuts Posted September 5, 2019 Members Posted September 5, 2019 We haven't been that way in a while...does anyone know if the boat ramp is open again at Hwy 160?
Ham Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 I don’t believe that it is, but not 100% on that. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
jdmidwest Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Interesting. I am planning a trip in the next few weeks, planned on Tecumseh, Theodosia, and Taney. Why would ramp close? "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

Well it wasn't built right then, was it? 😂 They're wasting your tax dollars if they build a ramp at the end of a river/headwater of a lake that isn't braced up to withstand a flood. They've had a whole year to fix it.....and they are still dicking around? Time to start clocking them out for lunch. 🤔 trythisonemv 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Jerome ramp on Gnade was wiped of the map. No plans to rebuild that one. Im not positive about tecumseh but I thought it was flood damage.
Ham Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Yeah, flood event completely eliminated the ramp, parking area, and road to ramp. Give. Toast. Dead Parrot. snagged in outlet 3 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
jdmidwest Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 I will have to rethink that portion of the trip. Anywhere else to put a jet in around there?? Can you even run a 60/40 on the North Fork? Was down there back in the spring, I doubt if the NFS ever puts one there again. Too shallow for boats any way most of the time. Riverton Ramp on 11 PT was washed out around it, part of the slab dropped off in a hole. You have to cheat to one side with a trailer or drop off in a hole. Been like that 2 years now. There are a couple of ramps on Norfork Lake that aren’t too hard to run up to the bridge and beyond Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
