OH don't give me that BS it's a Common Snapping Turtle, there is no Alligator Snapping Turtles in this river, they are in SE Missouri. Oh their all up and down this river. Then he starts looking in his Book. Well maybe it is a Common Snapping Turtle and since you are going to eat it I'm going to let it slide the way you caught it. Told him if he felt I needed a Ticket write one. No I'm not. Told him again if I did anything wrong write me a dang Ticket. Then my wife told me to shut up.

Got to talking with him found he had just got out of school and they didn't teach him about Turtles.

Yeah, I had one argue with me about the difference between a carp and a buffalo.  He thought buffalo was only found in the Mississippi River, and that everything else was a carp.
