trythisonemv Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Wasn't sure with the covid 19 flaring up around here that you were going to be done there. . . i was going anyway now that I have the wife convinced I have A tradition lol
Buzz Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 I wear a mask and keep a good distance from Ollie when we fish. Lol Safety first. trythisonemv 1 If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
tjm Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 My fly rod is social distance long so masks ain't really needed I reckon, but if it feels good do it. trythisonemv 1

ollie Posted November 30, 2020 Author Posted November 30, 2020 3 bows and a couple of chubs was all I had to show for yesterday. Buzz won the bragging rights this year. Although you never know if he was using bait or not. You would have thought that seeing him catching them! lol I just didn't have what it took yesterday. The conditions were prime for catching trout just like I like it, but I just couldn't produce. Bad thing was I normally dominate up by the mill dam and I couldn't buy a bite. I knocked off early. Just wasn't feeling it after that poor showing. Â Oh well, I get down there a lot so I know I will have better days in the near future. Buzz, Johnsfolly, Quillback and 2 others 5 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

tjm Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 You guys did a lot better than I usually do on that creek. Was raining enough here that I stayed in. 9am is a little early for me anyway, after a late night with out of state company.
