fishinwrench Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Yeah they seem to have ditched their brilliant "guide curve" and gone back to the way it was done in the 70's-80's-90's This is a good thing ! slothman and Smalliebigs 2

I don't understand why they feel it necessary to bull$#!t people.
96 CHAMP Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I wonder if the record amount of water in Truman has had some affect on the draw down this year?

Pulling Truman back down is why we are at the level we are at now. Allegedly they are not able to release more from Bagnell because of Mo. Rivers current stage. Still alot of water in the northwest that needs to be evacuated before it freezes. They lost alot of dikes and levee's this year and still can't rebuild/repair them because the water is still too high and the ground too wet. Looks like we will be going into spring without the levee's this coming year and they are trying to prepare for that.

People always say that, but I've never had it happen for me. Main lake points IMO are the worst place to try and pattern fish. Wind can shut you down, boat traffic can shut you down, I just don't see the attraction. I obviously need a lesson...more patience, and a much bigger boat.

The fish are using the points as a current break during all the generation. nomolites 1 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
