Tippet for Bass

That’s my point.  But like I said I only use it for fly fishing for trout.  Hybrids?  4’ of 20 pound and 3-4’ of 10-15 pound red label.

            Pretty much same here except with a sink tip just about 4 foot total. Those Mutts are not very smart .

I'm talking 8 to 10 inches above the fly on the seagar tippet. Drives my buddy crazy to the point that he has actually retied the whole setup when he watched me tie a knot in my wife's leader. I have never had it break at the overhand knot while fighting a fish.

Full sink for trout.  3’ of 2-3x.  Or whatever.

me neither, 70 yo next month been fishin over 50 of them and never saw a live WB.  I have eaten some the soninlaw caught.

I'm gonna always call the piece the fly ties onto tippet even if it's braid.  <5X is likely Rio nylon. I've tried a lot of  famous/fad/new on the market/other  material with no joy.
