netboy Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Our local White River Trout Unlimited chapter is currently working with AGFC to develop a walking trail that will extend about a mile downstream from the Rim Shoals walk in access parking lot. Big thanks to Gary Flippin of Rim Shoals Resort for moving this forward. Here is the history of the project and a few pics of the progress... https://www.whiterivertu.com/rim-shoals-walking-trail.html snagged in outlet 3, Ham, Daryk Campbell Sr and 4 others 6 1

Yes I have crossed it at the access point that is about 50 yards upstream of the end of the island. It gets a little too deep right at the end on the island. snagged in outlet 3 1

fishinwrench Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 It's been 15 years since I've been to RS but we were able to wade across at that time. Those fish acted like they'd never seen a leech before, we hammered 'em.

It does get a bit too deep at the lower end of the island though.
