The primary driver here is that we are not guaranteed that we can host the event in the fall given Covid and at this point we would likely be able to execute the event in early June. We've hosted in June in the past and we understand that there's pleasure boat traffic. We have always allowed trailering in our events and there's options for those making longer runs. There are tournaments on Table Rock in June and it's part of the process.  We should have updates from the survey later today or tomorrow and we will move quickly if the feedback is positive.

Like I said, I am 100% going to do it whatever it is because that is my time to get away and enjoy friends for a few days. We actually trailered one day last spring so I know it can definitely be done. I was just firing up the conversation again and hope we can pull it off this year! Look forward to hearing the final results and we'll see y'all there!

How will you get rooms this late in the season?   Do you need a lot of them?

I'd say it wouldnt be to hard especially maybe in SGF. Alot of hotels are very slow still. I personally am lucky enough to have a friends who family has a cabin near Cape fair and we fish this together and cook out and enjoy the kid free weekend every year!!!

Sure hope this works out, too busy chasing deer to do the fall date and who knows what the COVID will be like then, could be shut down again so if this can happen in June that would be great.   I'd think motels would not be booked up much yet either and love the business.

With the high water we are hearing rumors that you will postpone this tournament until the fall. Any confirmation?
