Champ188 Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 Even our great culture of freedom has its pitfalls … we get so consumed with having fun and idolizing standout performers (athletes, actors, musicians, etc.) that we fail to fully appreciate those who shine in "less fun" career fields --- i.e., science, medicine, law enforcement, our military, etc. Ultimately, each one of us chooses what we celebrate, but the national media certainly plays a role by glamorizing the "fun folks" and often ignoring other true heroes. m&m and big c 2
