fowlthing Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 We have been catching a few smallmouth in Beaver. Mostly swimbait drug slow across rocks in 10-20 foot of water I have tomorrow off work and wondering if Table Rock was messed up with the water dump from Beaver? Any advice is welcome
dblades Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 HIgh muddy and floaters but the fish might still be biting.
curtisce Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Put in at Shell knob today ran up into the dWhite past the Kings it was muddy turned around went down past Shell knob about halfway to Campbell point the water cleared. It was clear from there till Baxter. Baxter was flowing and Muddy water. The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
Champ188 Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Muddy isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Ham, dtrs5kprs, crazy4fishin and 1 other 4
Browning Guy Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Mid-James is still completely blown out and the catching is nonexistent. Still A LOT of debris everywhere and maybe worse than Sunday. I've gone out three days and have 3 fish to show for it. Jigs, spinnerbaits (shallow and deep), square bill's, deeper crankbaits, chatterbaits......fished in all types of banks. The debris is bad enough it makes you pucker up while running. Muddy is still an understatement. Headed out to clearer water in 30 mins. It was interesting to watch the mud lines actually go into what was clearer pickets n coves. Guessing Beaver must have pushed it. The debris stopped going down river. bobby b., Quillback, dtrs5kprs and 1 other 4
Quillback Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 My sources are all struggling to catch fish right now, I think this sunny, warm weather will help a bunch. Looks like more rain on the way Friday, hopefully it won't be much, weatherman last night thought there was a chance it might miss us.
m&m Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 Welcome to Springtime at Table Rock Lake. Rain, high water, and floating debris. The lake looks huge driving on the dam. Mike dtrs5kprs 1
