I can't tell you if it's the trans or the head units ability to sort out the returns.   I don't know, nor care really.   I just install them functionally, and make it look neatly done.

Nobody else was chiming in so I'm just sharing with you what I've noticed.

One is Standard  and one is UHD.     Reason I wanted real world opinions from users and there are not many on here.  So thanks to all for the help and opinions that gave them.

From my post on page 2.  (Guessing I will just go with UHD so when they regulate this like firearms I have good UHD PRE BAN stuff.     So I am in... and grandfathered.)

From what I have read UHD has more to do with side/down imaging sonar than Livescope. Screen resolution is the same between Plus and UHD units, the only difference is compatibility with the latest and greatest transducers, and as you said, there is only one Livescope unit, can't imagine it would make much, if any difference as far as that goes.

My next graph will have Livescope capability, so maybe if it comes down in price a little in the next few years it will be attainable. That 93SV for 599.99 is tempting, don't know if I'll be able to hold onto that stimulus check for long.

I’ve fished in the boat with someone that has one. Holy smokes! It is basically cheating. It is unreal, completely unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Expensive? Very. Worth it? Well, I don’t (and probably won’t ever) have one, but I foresee a day where it may be difficult to consistently win tournaments without one. Rather I should say, I think consistent top tournament finishers will probably have one in the future.
