ollie Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 I read the report from this the other day. They found the guy in 6' of water and the yak by the dam. Guy wasn't wearing a life jacket and couldn't swim. Also this was his first time in a yak. Complete recipe for disaster IMO. The only way they found him was he had an ankle monitor on that pinged the location. That in itself doesn't sound too right. People just don't have any common sense anymore. smh Daryk Campbell Sr 1 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

Members run2jeepn Posted April 23, 2020 Members Posted April 23, 2020 Was he found on the Lake Side or river side? He had some Stalking Charges on him. Violation of order of protection. I believe he was being monitored for that. He had 5 pages on Case.net and been in County Jail a dozen or so times.

Well, sadly whoever was allegedly worried about him doesn't have to anymore. RIP dude 😟
Bass Yakker Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 Pretty sure he was found downriver of the dam.
ollie Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 From the article I read there wasn't really that much to go on. Journalism isn't what it used to be!
