Members Topwalker Posted April 20, 2020 Members Posted April 20, 2020 I for one have etchis and wouldn't do that. Not saying it will never be done but it wont be done by me and bass are a small target and they move around alot I can barely keep my bait in front of one yet alone snag one and if the release areas are such big deals y do people and my self always catch big ones off of spots every year that aren't even close to release areas because we know what we're looking for and nature brings them along the same path every year not because they were released in an area very few tournaments go out of sons creek why is the fishing so good in there? Why do tournaments get won out of there regularly it's no where close to the release areas ? Same for many other great places on the lake to fish they are no where around these areas we had one of the best spawns I've personally seen last year for all species the lake is better now than I have ever seen it and it's only going to get better

Members Topwalker Posted April 20, 2020 Members Posted April 20, 2020 🤣🤣 well I'm not but I can say I will if it will make you sleep better tonight ?
fishinwrench Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 So you'd rather have to babysit fish in a livewell all day, make your boat as heavy as possible, burn up more battery juice, and overcomplicate the culling process..... just so you can stand in a line with a bag of fish, hoping to get a pat on the back and earn enough money to buy a replacement livewell pump? Just replaced one in a Skeeter, had to remove the fuel tank..... 464.56. Have you earned that much yet this season?
Members Topwalker Posted April 20, 2020 Members Posted April 20, 2020 Matter a fact I have and until somebody lays out a better plan to change all tournment local and national weigh and release I will continue to take them back to weigh in I'm not arguing that it would be better but it's not possible to do with out marshals and cameras like the major tours have

Spoonbill, hybrids, blues.....and I'm sure bass too, but you can expect THAT to be kept quiet for awhile.
Members Topwalker Posted April 20, 2020 Members Posted April 20, 2020 Spoonbill and blues dont move around near as much and are alot bigger of a target I would be surprised if someone could snag 2 bass in a day from my experience with it
