I do.  I don't like the KVD 1.5's.  I like the hooks and the oval split ring is the monkey dodo.  I've actually never caught a fish on them.  Take it off put on a bandit and it's on.  The 3 years have been outstanding for square bills for me.  Red Craw, brown/orange and that fall craw are deadly for me.

Yep, downsize when clear water is always a good strategy.  I do like the KVD’s though. Caught a couple last week on them. Although it wasn’t clear water.

Nice!!  I like the weight of the 1.5 though.  And it floats up when it gets hung up too! I'll keep trying them

I don't fish squarebills enough.  But when it is on, it's a fun way to fish.  I like the ghost colors if the water is clear.

KVD 1.5 is my standard model, painted in chameleon brown.

Always remove the stock hardware & replace with mustad KVD elite EWGs & Spintechs(if I want slow rise)

I will fish them in gin clear water on the windy cloudy days.

I think they're best on those cold windy overcast days.

Have you guys tried the new KVD deeper diving square bill? I’m guessing it performs more like a coffin bill?

I forgot about that one Mitch. Do you know the diving depth? I know the 1.5 runs about 5-7ft deep

KVD 1.5 is a deadly post spawn bait in areas where there are bream spawning & congregating.

Never really fish them. I like a Mann’s 1 minus this time of year, and the swim jig.
