It broke in the mouth of a nice fish last week and I was butt hurt.  I'm going to try one of those, thanks Quill.  The Surge Shad is a very good bait, and I have tried to make the LC work, but it is not in the conversation.

Pete Wenners told me last year that Strike King was going to make a new Wake Shad but it has not came along to my knowledge.

I'm ordering right now.

Hopefully they fixed the hinges.

Mine worked perfect. It did however break at the hinge as the fish was shaking its head

Yep. That was their top trick. Most of them ran great, but that hinge would go eventually.

Has been a good one for me.  Even caught a ‘couple’ on TR with it.  🤔

Seems like Don House used to like the Mikey.

I've never been able to keep it waking, except at high speeds. Same for the Mikey Slim.
