My daughter went hiking at Busiek today and took a picture of a trout she saw in one  of the deep pools in the creak that runs thru there.  Was this an escapee from a flood or is there a small sustaining population in that creek.  I’ve only been there once years ago but have never heard of any trout being bought there.

I used to live near Spokane and Busiek Creek ran through the back of my place.  The creek would dry up often.  Hard for me to imagine a self sustaining population there but mother nature makes up her own mind.  Can we see the photo?

Can you post the picture please?   I’d love to see that.

Saddlebrooke?

Nope.  Bull Creek runs on the East side of SaddleBrooke.

There is a trout resort up above there that I think might be on the same creek or a connecting one??

Mountain Springs on Hwy O.  Good friends of mine ran it back in the early 80's.  They thought they were on to something feeding trout guts and dead trout to the hogs.  Then the bacon was fishy.  True story.

The spring outlet runs off to the West IIRC.

They run up the creeks from Taneycomo on occasion, my bet is that is where it came from.
